I took classes with Raquel for 3 months after moving to Valencia and would highly recommend her. She is extremely patient, supportive and very good at explaining complex points in a straightforward way while also drawing out conversation in Spanish. Raquel helped me improve my Spanish by a lot. She was able to quickly evaluate my level and explain her methodology. I took classes every day as I had a limited time in Valencia. She would wittingly engage me in a conversation that caused me to practice speaking for about half the (1 hour) class while she corrected my vocabulary and grammar before going on to the lesson for the day. Muchas gracias Maria y Raquel! I so enjoyed my private language lessons with Maria this week in Valencia. Maria built up my vocabulary, comprehension and speaking skills, so much so that I feel far more confident conversing in Spanish. I loved that Maria spoke Spanish to me all of the time, which gave me the chance to really feel immersed in the language (and no excuse to slip back into English!). And whilst I'm a beginner, Maria, was patient and kind in correcting me, helping me to understand sentence construction and building my vocabulary.
